UNBURDEN is a mental health companion, not a licensed therapist and not a crisis service. It cannot diagnose, prescribe, or keep you safe in an emergency. If you are in crisis, contact 112 (EU) or your local emergency number.
What the service is: a private space to talk things through with an AI companion, plus a local reflective log of the themes you've been bringing to it.
Your conversations and reflections stay in your browser, on your device. They are never stored on UNBURDEN's servers. Your message is passed to an AI provider in the moment needed to write a reply, and nothing more is kept.
Account data — your email address, the username you pick, and your subscription status — is stored so we can run your account and your billing. Nothing else about you is stored.
The subscription is 1.99 EUR per month, recurring, and you can cancel any time from your account page. Payments are handled by Stripe; UNBURDEN never sees your card details.
You agree to use UNBURDEN for yourself, not to misuse it, and to seek real human help when something is beyond what a companion can hold.
