Privacy Policy

This is a draft placeholder and has not been reviewed by a lawyer — do not treat it as a final legal document.

Your conversations never leave your device as stored data. Every message, thread title and reflection lives in your browser's local storage. There is no database, no account sync and no backup of any of it on UNBURDEN's servers.

To write a reply, your message is sent to an AI provider in the moment — that call is stateless and the content isn't logged or kept afterwards. So the AI does read what you write, but nothing is stored remotely.

Because it's local: signing in on another device or browser starts with no history there, and clearing your browser data clears your conversations.

What we do store, only to run your account and billing: your email address, the username you choose (shown only to you), and your subscription status, plan and renewal date, along with an identifier from Stripe.

Stripe processes payments. UNBURDEN never sees or stores your card details.

There is no analytics, no telemetry and no advertising. You can delete your account at any time, and separately wipe all local conversation data from the Patterns page.
